You probably learned about the law of attraction from the movie “The Secret” or Abraham Hicks. Both define the law of attraction as what you hold in mind is what manifests in your reality — like attracts like. If you hold good thoughts in mind, then only good people, experiences, and situations will come into your life.
This is all true. The mind is creative.
The problem is that about 90% of the mind is subconscious — meaning we aren’t even aware of it! 90% of what you are creating in your life isn’t even conscious or intentional. Sure, you may be visualizing, gratitude journaling, and thinking positive thoughts but if you have some serious garbage in your subconscious mind, then you won’t have the power to manifest what you desire.
You must release the garbage from your subconscious mind so that you can manifest what you truly love. (By the way, all garbage emanates from feelings of want and lack.)
Using the Release Technique or the Sedona Method helps put you in the driver seat. It helps you to pull up all subconscious programs so that you can easily let them go — forever. When you are free and clear of all subconscious programming, then you can be, do, or have anything you want.
Don’t believe me? Read some of my gains from applying the Release Technique.

I totally agree that in using the law of attraction you must make sure that you are also believing your thoughts as the subconcious mind is powerful. For example if you keep thinking that you will attract abundance in life but you do not believe it then it will not happen.

I hate to break this to you . . .
The Law of Attraction . . . ISN'T!!
A Law that is!
Maybe in the way of The Law of Diminishing Returns, which says; after certain critical mass, a product loses value in direct proportion to its higher cost.
Maybe in the way of Murphy's Law: if something can go wrong it will.
Maybe in the way of judicial law "We state that serial rapist is an innocent victim of women's wantonness; Case Dismissed!"
But certainly not in the way of Newton's 3rd Law of Motion. Can you imagine playing pool and more than half the time you strike a ball IT REFUSES TO BUDGE!!!!!! "Oh sorry, other conditions: the felt, the slate, the cue, table height; weren't quite right"
But certainly not in the way of The Law of Gravity. Can you imagine jumping off a brick fence and over half the time you jut hang there in mid-air? "Oh sorry, other conditions: metal under the pavement, a northerly wind, wasn't concentrating hard enough when I jumped, the fence had an incline; weren't quite right"
But certainly not in the way of Pythagorus' theorem. "Hey guys, 65% of the triangles I draw, DON"T have squares on the other sides that add up to the square on the hypotenuse.
But who cares? It's still a law.
So again, The Law of Attraction is NOT a Bona Fide law!! It's all symbolic conjecture by Abraham-Hicks. If you honestly believe The Law of Attraction is a universal law, as proclaimed by Bob Proctor, Joe Vitale, Rhonda Byrne et al, you really need to adjust your thinking, guys!! Don't allow marketing guru hysteria to do your thinking for you.

Interesting point of view. As for myself, I am much more interested in the teaching then the actual semantics. The belief that your thinking leads to a creation of reality spans many different teachers and cultures. Gandhi said, “A man is but the product of his thoughts. What he thinks, he becomes.” Buddha put it this way -- “All that we are is the result of what we have thought. The mind is everything. What we think we become.” Lester Levenson said "We are at this moment the result of the sum of all our past thinking." To anyone reading this, it is always important to take it for checking—if the teaching doesn't ring true, then find one that does. Be well, Jessica

This is interesting indeed, I certainly agree that the mind is creative but it requires great control to attract abundance through law of attraction. Positive thinking and using the power of the subconscious mind is one of the great ways to make sure you attract abundance in life.

Sigmund Freud stated that the mind is a powerful thing, he also stated that the subconscious mind is so vast and powerful. He sated that the conscious mind is just a tip of the iceberg while the subconscious mind is base. The subconscious mind can attract abundance in life, it is the base of the law of attraction and if used properly you can attract abundance in life. Maybe the law of attraction is not working for you because you failed to use the subconscious mind

I agree, most people are not that conscious on what they think. We really need to direct our thought to things we need to improve and focus on thoughts that will help us in manifesting abundance. This way the law of attraction will work for you.

Hi guys. I believe in the Law of Attraction and how it works simply because my life has dramatically been changed and I don't mean I got rich or extra wealthy, in the 3 years I am applying the law. What I am saying is this: I am more focused on things I want instead on things I don't want . As a result I keep feeding my subconscious with what I want and don't leave enough space for the subconscious garbage to come out and drive me nuts. This is a daily battle and is going to be for ever.
